An introduction to Jasmine:<\/h5>\n

“I\u2019m from St. Catharines Ontario Canada. I went to a musical high school called Laura Secord Secondary School. I\u2019ve played elite sports all my life. My first year of university was in Baltimore Maryland at Coppin State University on a full ride volleyball scholarship in Division 1 of NCAA. I also did pole vault and hurdles in
\nthe states at the D1 level. I returned home last year to play on the best collegiate team in Ontario at Humber college!”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

“This year I am taking the year off to focus on my music and acting career! I\u2019ve sang in Toronto jazz clubs such as the Rex! However; lately I\u2019ve been singing more pop\/rnb music because that is where my heart is at!”<\/p>\n

Why she chose to pursue modelling\/acting:<\/h5>\n

“I got into modelling and acting when I was about 6 years old. My mom had me entered in many talent and modelling competitions and as a result of that I was scouted to an acting agency. Since I chose to become an elite athlete I didn\u2019t have the time to get back into it. This year my life has taken a turn for the better and I\u2019ve decided to pursue my true passion and join an agency because life is too short
\nto not be doing what you love!”<\/p>\n

Her experience with MAX so far:<\/h5>\n

“I haven\u2019t been with Max for a while and I just started going to auditions. However; Max has been very supportive and everyone there seems like one big happy family that I\u2019m blessed to be a part of!”<\/p>\n

Favourite things to do in spare time:<\/h5>\n

“In my spare time I play guitar, piano, drum kit, dance. I love to sing and draw. I play volleyball and also basketball. I love to workout. I enjoy going to open mic nights around Toronto and singing my heart out for anyone who will listen!”<\/p>\n

Advice for those in the industry:<\/h5>\n

“My advice for anyone pursuing their passion in the music or acting industry is that you need to be 100% authentic. Be yourself. Now a days people are looking for a unique sound or look and there is nothing more unique then someone being their own authentic self.”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Some other interesting facts about Jasmine:<\/h5>\n

“I was captain choreography of my high schools competitive award winning hip hop dance team for 3 years in a row! I also spend a lot of my time supporting the lgbtq community! Alongside, supporting the movement towards providing more assistance and tools for those who suffer from mental health issues.”<\/p>\n
