This week we\u2019ll be showcasing a uniquely talented member of our roster \u2013Loreque F! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Her Beginnings<\/strong><\/p>\n

My name is Loreque Fearon and I\u2019m 17 years old. I was born in Jamaica and grew up there as well, and moved to Canada when I was 7. I go to Earl Haig Secondary School for the Claude Watson Arts program, and in the program I major in Dance. For the most part it is mainly Modern and Ballet but we have different Artists teaching us a variety of styles. I\u2019ve been dancing since I was 8 and haven\u2019t stopped since.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cHow did you get into modelling\/acting?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

I got into modelling because of a shoot I did with Mimp Magazine, and I really enjoyed myself and had a lot of fun so I wanted to try it out professionally.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

His Experience with MAX Agency<\/strong><\/p>\n

My experience with Max has been pretty good so far, I\u2019ve had the opportunity to do a shoot with CP24\u2019s CHUM Christmas wish for a commercial and it was really cool to see the behind the scenes of that process.<\/p>\n

Extracurriculars <\/b><\/p>\n

In my spare time I like to unwind and relax because I have a very busy schedule so I meditate and do yoga at least once a week, or I like to write. I also enjoy going for jogs in the park, or going to the gym.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Her Dream Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t really thought about what I would want as a dream role because I like stepping outside my comfort zone and trying new things, but I would say to be the \u201cmean girl\u201d would be interesting because it\u2019s the complete opposite of me.<\/p>\n

\u201cBest advice for someone looking to get into the industry? or best advice <\/strong>you\u2019ve received?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Something I would tell someone looking to get into modelling is that they always need to give 110% at whatever job, audition, tryout they\u2019re in. Because if you only give half of what you have that doesn\u2019t make the best first impression, and you probably look weirder than you feel. So relax and do your best! My acting coach Andrew also told my class that even though our agency is booking jobs for us it is also important that we look for ourselves to build our own platform.<\/p>\n

Extra<\/strong><\/p>\n

I also think it\u2019s important for everyone in the industry to remember to be patient, because recognition takes time, but it\u2019s worth it and in the meantime just have fun!<\/p>\n
