1. Prep up: Scrub your lips – We all get dry and chapped lips once in a while and if you apply lip colour (whether its matte, liquid, gloss, etc) it will create more rough texture which will result in uneven lip colour or lipstick will settle in fine lines.\u00a0<\/span>
The easiest option is to scrub your lips weekly. Heres how –\u00a0<\/span>
Take a pea size amount of petroleum jelly and mix small amount of fine crushed sugar to it. Scrub this mixture on your lips for about 15-25 seconds. Remember, do it gently and dont forget to apply lip balm afterwards.\u00a0<\/span>

2. Use your favourite pinks or reds as a cheek tint- Dab lipstick lightly on your cheeks and blend it to create a soft natural blush look.<\/span>

3. Messy application? No worries, apply foundation powder concealer on the edges your lower lip. It creates a clean look.<\/span>

4. Need a longwear lipstick? Apply tranlucent powder or setting powder on your lipstick. It will lock the colour right in.<\/span>

5. Turn your pink or light reds into nude- Pat a small amount of concealer on top of your pinks and reds to turn it into a nude lip shade.\u00a0<\/span>
