Talent Shop Revisions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Class 1: Video <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Intro to instructor and basics for self-taping\/emotion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assignment:<\/em> Rant<\/span><\/p>\n

Students must come up with a 3-4 minute video of them ranting about any chosen subject.<\/span><\/p>\n

Class 2: Video<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Intro to improv and monologues<\/span><\/p>\n

Assignment<\/em>: Monologue<\/span><\/p>\n

A collection of monologues will be posted on the website.  Pick one and self-tape your performance. <\/span><\/p>\n

Class 3: Video<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The mind of the actor will be discussed and how mental distress can be used to your advantage<\/span><\/p>\n

Assignment:<\/em> Long time no talk<\/span><\/p>\n

Pick one person you haven\u2019t seen or talked to in a long time: someone you never got to say what you wanted to.  Now\u2019s your chance.  Film yourself talking to them and say what you wanted to say.<\/span><\/p>\n

Class 4: In class<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Select Students will be asked to come audition.  If they pass they will be invited to take Intermediate (the next level).  If they don\u2019t they\u2019ll be referred to the intro to improv.<\/span>
