She describes the moment as a dream come true, a testament to her faith and belief that hard work and dedication pay off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “It meant that my Savior, Jesus Christ, kept His promise to me\u2026 you will bear the fruit of your labor,” Monique reflects. “It\u2019s proof that you can achieve anything you give your 100 percent to.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n This victory has fueled Monique\u2019s drive even further, setting her sights on stepping onto the Olympia stage in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n Training for Success<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When it comes to preparing for a competition, Monique\u2019s training routine is rigorous and varied. She dedicates six days a week to different forms of workouts, targeting both her upper and lower body. As competition day approaches, she adds 60 minutes of cardio with a 25lb weighted vest to keep her workouts challenging and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Advice for Aspiring Bodybuilders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Monique has valuable advice for those just starting out in bodybuilding or fitness competitions: find a coach who truly has your best interest at heart. She emphasizes the importance of staying humble, respectful, and true to oneself both on and off the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Pursue your dreams, no matter what it takes. Push harder even when it\u2019s hard. You are your only competition!”<\/p>\n\n\n A Strong Support System<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Behind every great athlete is a strong support system, and for Monique, her biggest inspiration and mentor is her husband. “He has supported me, pushed me, motivated me, and wiped away my tears,” she says. “Without him, I wouldn\u2019t have come this far, and I will be forever thankful for that.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Monique\u2019s journey is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through dedication, resilience, and the support of loved ones.
