A poor family struggles to make ends meet on their failing farm when an old beggar visits them asking for charity. The familys selfless acts yield surprising results when the beggar disappears the next morning leaving a generous reward in his place.<\/p>\n<p>Sal will be auditioning for the role of the Son. A smaller than average boy who has a passion for the violin. His father resents his lack of strength and lack of desire to lend a hand on the farm. A strong bond is visible between him and his Mother.
