Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at MAX Agency — a successful Toronto acting agency representing men, women and children.
This week we’ll be showcasing one talented teen on our roster, Sofia D.
Tell me a bit about yourself and your background (heritage, where you are from, school, other jobs, etc.) My mom is from the Middle East and my dad is Scottish/Ukranian. I have green eyes! I currently am at a sports school in Unionville Ontario.
How did you get into modelling/acting? I started doing print work when I was in Grade 3. I have done Canadian Tire ads, Toyota ads, I have also been on several commercials including toy companies, car commercials and furniture commercials. My Bad Boy commercial from when I was 5 still airs every Christmas!
How has your experience been with Max? Any memorable moments from auditions or sets? I had a great experiences on set with Max. One job I got I didn’t even audition for, they selected me off my photo!
What do you like to do in your spare time? (Hobbies, passions, etc.) I play rep volleyball and do competitive High Jump. I also love fashion !
What is your dream role? To be famous model
Best advice for someone looking to get into the industry? or best advice youve received? Its a lot of work so you need to prioritize your time properly. Always smile and be friendly when at auditions! It goes along way !
