MAX Agency Featured New Talent- OLIVIA OLIVER

Introducing Max Agency’s new talent- Olivia Oliver. She is an ice dancer competing for Poland on the International Junior Grand Prix Circuit and at the World Championships.

 

On January 19, 2015, at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, Olivia broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest spin on ice. Her record speed was timed at 342 RPM and she broke the previous world record set in 2006 by 34 RPM!

 

Here’s what Olivia has to say about herself:

“I’m 16 years old and I skate for Poland in Ice Dance. I’m also a Guinness World Record Holder, Canadian Champions Fund Grant Recipient, Scotia bank Community Hero & Charity Worker. I was born in Poland and I live in Barrie, Canada.

I have Canadian, Polish & British nationality and I speak English, Polish & French.

Josh and I represent Poland and we are committed to do whatever it takes, and as long as it takes, to achieve our dream together…..

My journey to get this far has been exciting…”

Beauty Tips

Have healthier looking skin this winter- Tip Tuesday!

1) Limit temperature for a hot shower-

I know, steamy, hot water showers are so relaxing and feels so good but it is actually taking a toll on your skin. Cold and lukewarm water makes your skin look much better and healthier.

2) Use gentle cleansers-

Identify your skin type, skin problems, needs or consult a skin expert to know the right type of cleanser for your skin type. It is always good to use products which do not have any strong fragrance to it.

3) Use SPF-

Even during dark winter days, your skin needs protection from sun rays. now reflects the sun’s rays — up to 80 percent, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation — increasing your risk of exposure.

4) Opt for 24 hours hydrating moisturizer-

A great moisturizer allows your skin to stay hydrated and bouncy all day, without any reapplication.

5) Stay hydrated-

I cannot stress this enough. Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to stay hydrated and keep your skin healthy and glowing

6) Do CTM regime before bed-

It’s late, you’re extremely tired and sleepy but try not to skip on your CTM routine. It hardly takes 5 minutes and provides your skin time to replenish and get ready for the next day. CTM- Your beauty sleep essential.

7) Use humidifier-

A dry environment can make you reach the moisturizer every now and then. By using a humidifier, you won’t feel to do that since it increases moisture in the air.

Talent Showcase : Sofia D.

Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at MAX Agency —  a successful Toronto acting agency representing men, women and children.

This week we’ll be showcasing one talented teen on our roster, Sofia D. 

Tell me a bit about yourself and your background (heritage, where you are from, school, other jobs, etc.)
My mom is from the Middle East and my dad is Scottish/Ukranian. I have green eyes! I currently am at a sports school in Unionville Ontario.

How did you get into modelling/acting?
I started doing print work when I was in Grade 3. I have done Canadian
Tire ads, Toyota ads, I have also been on several commercials including
toy companies, car commercials and furniture commercials. My Bad Boy
commercial from when I was 5 still airs every Christmas!


How has your experience been with Max? Any memorable moments from auditions or sets?
I had a great experiences on set with Max. One job I got I didn’t even
audition for, they selected me off my photo!

What do you like to do in your spare time? (Hobbies, passions, etc.)
I play rep volleyball and do competitive High Jump. I also love fashion !


What is your dream role?
To be famous model

Best advice for someone looking to get into the industry? or best advice youve received?
Its a lot of work so you need to prioritize your time properly. Always
smile and be friendly when at auditions! It goes along way !
