Our talent spotlight is for Country-Rock singer and MAX talent, Suzi Koury!

Suzi was 8 months old when her family moved to Toronto from Beirut. Her mother, who is a country music fan, would always play classics that Suzi became very familiar with.

“Seeing Axl Rose perform I realized I wanted to be a performer,” she says. “I had a keyboard and a microphone and I started writing songs, but my parents were dead set against it.”

So she followed her second passion for travel and aviation as she raised two boys after having moved to the Middle East. Her passion to write and perform was reignited years later when she met her idol, Axl Rose.

Suzi wrote and recorded her first Ep, Spellcasting, in 2017. Produced by John Angus MacDonald (The Trews), it was released in the same year, it aired on the radio across Canada, the US, Netherlands, the UK, the Middle East, Brazil, and New Zealand, along with shows in Toronto and LA.

Suzi has since released 6 singles and a gospel-inspired anthem Love Revolution, which lead to her organizing a drive-in country music festival, the Love Revolution Festival.

Suzis current producer and co-writer is Brent Woods, and she boasts over 200K streams on Spotify, 65K streams on Youtube and her music can also currently be heard on Sirius XM. 

In addition to the music Kory has been on music conference panels (Niagara Music Week), published articles on ‘How to Make it in the Music Industry’ (FYI Music News), and is a Motivational Speaker.

Ellen M. joined MAX Agency in Summer 2021 and has been invited for 4 auditions so far. 

In her day-to-day, she is an entrepreneur who owns and operates two companies – one in hospitality and the other in data management consulting, and she is also the President of a local not-for-profit.

She spends her free time with her many pets at home or on the road – she loves to travel, especially on road trips! Her hobbies include aerial dance (pole, silks & lyrah), guitar, learning new languages, and actively participating in the local acting community in her hometown, Ottawa, ON.

She is motivated by personal growth in herself and those around her. She is always eager to take on new challenges and to learn new skills. Her aspirations in being an actor are to inspire others to strive for their goals, defeat the impossible, and hopefully enable others to experience some enjoyment from her delivery in productions.

Todays talent spotlight is Alexandra S., Miss Teenage Ontario 2022 and Miss Teen Simcoe County 2021.

Toronto Modeling Agency – Teen modeling Toronto – Miss Teenage Simcoe County 2021 – Alexandra S.

Alexandra is 15 years old, and currently in grade 10 at the Innisdale Secondary School in Barrie. She parts in various extra-curricular activities such as horseback riding, skiing, skating, swimming, and reading.

One of her lifes passions is Irish dancing, which she has been practicing for the last 14 years. She has competed at the Open Championship level at many Canadian and international Irish dance competitions. She dedicates at least 8 hours a week to polishing her skills.

She has been taught by Deirdre Hamilton, a former lead dancer of the famous Riverdance show, and owner of the Hamilton School of Irish Dance in Barrie.

This April, 2022, she won her new title, Miss Teenage Ontario 2022 at the Provincial pageant Miss Teenage Canada organized by Pageant Group Canada. Alexandra describes it as an amazing experience with a lot of joy and excitement.

In 2021, Alexandra won the title of Miss Teenage Simcoe County and rated top 10 at the Miss Teenage Canada.

Aside from school and dance, Alexandra is working at McDonalds and providing support to the community. Her platform for the pageant is to advocate for young girls in the world to show that every person is unique. 

In February 2022, Alexandra organized a group to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year 2022 fundraising walking event with all proceeds donated to the Youth Haven, Barrie. The given organization provides services and support to the youth in Simcoe County.

One of Alexandras dreams is to become a doctor in the future. She is working hard to balance her schooling, dance, work, and social life. Alexandra is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such amazing events and hopes participating in the pageant will not only improve her own confidence but build her skills to do public speaking as well.
