Max Agency would like to introduce a wonderful new addition to our roster: Julian D!

In just under a year, this 18-year-old Toronto musician has captivated the Toronto pop scene with his original take on pop music. Julian has self-released three vibrant breakout tracks which have earned him over thousands of Spotify streams.

Born and raised in Toronto, Julian has a background in musical
theatre, as well as vast experience on the local music scene. Julians
time on the theatrical stage has paid off, as Julian has a natural
command and confidence as a performer that makes him a
charismatic focal point that can hold the attention of even the most
jaded of audiences.

With his growing fanbase and success with the music he has been
working on for several years, Julian is set to release his debut EP later this year and tour North America. With the upcoming Toronto show, and a growing reputation as a live performer with a special connection to his audience. Julian Daniel is undoubtedly an artist of great potential and limitless possibilities.

Showcase Saturday – Lacey G.!

Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at Max Agency —  a successful Toronto talent management agency in Canada representing men, women and children.

This week we will be featuring the lovely and confident, Lacey G!

An introduction to Lacey:

“I am Mohawk Nation and Turtle Clan, currently living in
Brantford and originally from Six Nations. I am 35 years old.”

How she got involved with modelling/acting:

“I started modelling at the age of 6 with Jenica Tanner modelling agency until I was 13. I have now decided to return to the modelling industry to try and pick up where I had left off, hoping to one day be able to give back to my Aboriginal community.”

How she spends her spare time:

“I spend a lot of my time creating dreamcatchers and other aboriginal crafts, and being with my 4 daughters. Im extremely versatile with different styles and looks and am up for anything unique and interesting. Im not exactly a feminine kinda girl, more of a tomboy at times and didnt think modelling could go anywhere with someone like me.”

Best advice for someone in the industry:

“When I attended acting class I was very nervous and felt out of place and couldnt figure out why? I was told to always be yourself and dont try and be something you are not or what you think is expected. On my last day of class, I showed up as me. When the instructor came in he looked at me and said, Thats different. I said What you saw before was different, this is me. And to my surprise he said And thats exactly how you are supposed to be.

I had more confidence and felt a lot better as me. So the best advice is to be yourself and dont worry about what people want or expect. If they dont like it, so what? Youre perfect the way you are and should be proud of it.”

We could not say it better ourselves! In order to be successful, you must be yourself and avoid trying to be something youre not!
