MAX AGENCY: WORKSHOP CLASSES

Talent Shop Revisions

Class 1: Video

Intro to instructor and basics for self-taping/emotion.

Assignment: Rant

Students must come up with a 3-4 minute video of them ranting about any chosen subject.

Class 2: Video

Intro to improv and monologues

Assignment: Monologue

A collection of monologues will be posted on the website.  Pick one and self-tape your performance. 

Class 3: Video

The mind of the actor will be discussed and how mental distress can be used to your advantage

Assignment: Long time no talk

Pick one person you haven’t seen or talked to in a long time: someone you never got to say what you wanted to.  Now’s your chance.  Film yourself talking to them and say what you wanted to say.

Class 4: In class

Select Students will be asked to come audition.  If they pass they will be invited to take Intermediate (the next level).  If they don’t they’ll be referred to the intro to improv.
