Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at MAX Agency —  a successful Toronto talent agency representing men, women and children.

This week we’ll be showcasing an exceptional talent on our roster: 

 Arun D.!

An introduction to Arun:

“I am Canadian born and raised: born in Toronto and raised in Brampton for the most part. My background is Indian. I am a documentary filmmaker and have made two films here in Toronto.”

 

How did you get into modelling/acting?

“Modelling – just happened. I did a few promos for a college in Toronto, and then through them got introduced to the media industry and thought I would try modelling out. And its one of the best decisions Ive made! Ive learned so much, met some pretty cool folks and have had such a fun time with it!“

How has your experience been with MAX? 

“My best experience was the Bullfrog commercial for Canada 150. It was such an amazing experience! I got to see Toronto from a very different view and was amazed with what we created afterwards. Working with MAX has been great. Ive gotten some really good jobs, and always find ways to grow and do more with modelling.”

What do you like to do in your spare time? 

“I like movies, dancing, sports and travelling. And any time I get to spend with my nephew is always precious.”

What is your dream role?

“To model for Swarvoski and be in a really great music video.”

 

Best advice for someone looking to get into the industry?

“Dont take anything personally. Its really not you – the client has something specific in mind and they know what they are searching for. Sometimes its you and sometimes its not.”

New Actor Books Job Within Weeks of Joining Agency!

MAX Agencys Matt B. gives feedback on his first 6 months with the agency.

Showcase Saturday – Grafton A.

Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at MAX Agency —  a successful Toronto talent agency representing men, women and children.

This week we’ll be showcasing an awesome talent on our roster: 

Grafton A.!

An introduction to Grafton:

“Hi, my name is Grafton. I am 12. I am St. Lucian and Canadian. I attend a sports and wellness academy in Toronto.”

Why did you want to get into modelling/acting?

“I want to be in a Marvel movie. Hopefully one day my dreams will come true.”

“My brother and I pre-show for Toronto Kids Fashion Week.”
How has your experience been with MAX Agency? What has been the most memorable moment?

“I really enjoyed the free acting classes the agency gives you when you sign up. It really helps you know what to do when you go into an audition. My favourite audition was for Nintendo Labo!”

What do you like to do in your spare time?

“Play basketball, draw and hang with my friends. Right now I am rehearsing for my school’s musical. We are doing Beauty and The Beast and I am playing the role of Gaston.”

What is your dream role?

“To play Miles Morales! 🕷”

 
Best advice for someone looking to get into the industry? 

“Just be you!”

On set for a new kids show!

“You can learn so much in this industry and have a lot of fun. The people you meet are really nice. I really like what I do.”
