#TipTuesday is a series Max Agency — a successful model and talent management agency in Canada representing men, women and children — will be doing every week where we share helpful tips for the industry! This could be tips on auditions, bookings, and more!

This weeks tip is: Always let your agent know when you are going to be late for an audition!

Casting Directors have schedules for a reason and it is best to attend an audition at the time you are given. However, if you absolutely can not make it for your time, be sure to tell your agent so they can pass the information along to the client so that they are aware.

At each audition, you must fill out an information sheet and sign in, therefore giving yourself an extra 10-20 minutes before your audition time is recommended!

If you absolutely can not make it in time, by letting your agent know about your tardiness we can pass along that information to the casting director/clients so they are not waiting for you, wondering if you will show up. Calling shows that you care about other peoples time and have a certain responsibility!
