This week we’ll be showcasing a unique teen talent on our roster Liliana M!

Background Information

My name is Liliana M and I am 16 years old, turning 17.  I live with both of my parents in Toronto, which is where I have always lived. I have volunteered  this summer and the summer before that with young children.

How did you get into modelling/acting?

I got into modeling and acting by being approached by a member of the MAX Agency. When I was approached I was shopping with my friends at the Eaton Center. Modeling has always been an unattainable dream of mine that I have thought about in dull moments to keep my occupied. I never truly considered modeling as a career until the moment that the scouting agent came up to me and asked if I wanted to be a model. I thought it was a great opportunity that I couldn’t turn down.

How has your experience been with MAX Agency?

My experience with MAX has been very exciting and eye opening to me. I never knew how much work and effort that goes into taking a picture. During my photo shoot for my portfolio I took many pictures in many different poses with different outfits. In addition to lighting and makeup along with the right pose that captures my best features. Going to the photo shoot was very nerve racking for me and I never imagined that I would have so much fun in front of the camera.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Hobbies, passions,
etc.

In my spare time between school and extracurriculars, I play piano. Playing the piano has always been a strong passion of mine from a very young age. I never lost interest and I never will. Later this year I will be applying for a university degree in music. In addition to playing the piano, I also enjoy tennis. My mom signed me up for a tennis camp at a very young age and I have been playing ever since. Earlier in the year I joined my school tennis team in addition to a tennis club that I played at once a week with a class to keep improving my skills.

What is your dream role?

Anywhere where I am positive influence to the public while expressing my individuality and skills. Whether it be modeling or acting or music.

Best advice for someone looking to get into the industry? or best advice you’ve received?

The best advice that I could offer to someone looking to get into this industry is to be confident in the abilities and skills that they have and to be themselves. Along with enjoying every experience and opportunity that is given to you and present yourself as the strong a capable person that you are.
