An introduction to Jacqueline:

Jacqueline is from an Italian-Ukrainian family of seven. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, she grew up around Waterloo.

How she got involved in acting/modelling:

Her passion for acting began when she was cast as The Mirror in a grade school production of Snow White – she knew then she wanted to be in front of the camera. She later gained experience in short films, commercials and print modelling and is hoping to expand to principle roles in TV and film.

How she spends her free time:

Jacqueline is an avid traveler and enjoys singing, dancing, fitness, cooking, party planning, painting and has two cats; Franklin T. Roosevelt & Luciano P. Liberty.

Best advice she has received:

“KNOW yourself and say YES to everything.”

Jade O – Showcase Saturday! – Toronto Acting Agency

Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at Max Agency — a successful Toronto acting agency in Canada representing men, women and children.

This week we will be featuring the wise and talented, Jade O.!

An introduction to Jade:

“My name is Jade Selena O’Donnell. My background is Trinidadian and Canadian, with my mom being from Trinidad and Tobago and my dad being Canadian.”

Her acting/modelling journey:

“I started developing a passion for acting and modelling around the age of seven.  Since then I have been in several plays, including musicals and dance recitals, as well as a few photo shoots.  In my last year of elementary school, I was recommended to audition for the Drama program that was offered through the Regional Arts Program at a high school in my community.  Upon auditioning I was chosen out of the ninety auditions and accepted along with sixteen other students to have Drama as my major throughout my high school academic years.  This is something I am very proud off and I continue to work hard at maintaining a good standing within the program.”

“Upon graduating from my elementary school, I was also awarded the award for Dramatic Arts.  In my Regional Arts Drama Program, I have learned and gained many experiences that has helped me to gain a better concept of the role of an actor. ”

Jades Hobbies:

“In my spare time, I enjoy photography, making and editing YouTube videos, skating, hiking and traveling with my family. ”

Favourite memory with Max so far:

“My experience with Max Agency has been one that has been very exciting.  I am new to this agency and I was very thrilled at meeting my booking agent and hearing about the exciting, possibilities that I can encounter through this company. ”

Best advice she has received:

“My best advice about acting has been one that I have received was from my Drama teacher; and the advice was when taking over a role, dig deep into your personal connections and emotions to portray the character more realistically but never let your emotions get the best of you. I feel as though since I’ve heard this I have been able to connect deeper with the character I am portraying.”

Elly C – Showcase Saturday – Toronto Kids Modeling

Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at Max Agency — a successful model and talent management agency in Canada representing men, women and children.

This week we will be featuring the charming and talented, Elly C!

An introduction to Elly:

“My background is Irish , English and Scottish. I was raised in Ottawa but currently living in Toronto.”

How she got into acting/modelling:

“From a very young age I have always loved to act and play different characters. Ive always come up with creative story lines and even created my own personas that I love to act out. I truly enjoy the memorization process and becoming other personalities and characters. So becoming an actress was a natural and easy
decision.”

Favourite memory from an audition or set?

“My favourite audition was for a short film. It was my favourite because I got to show lots of emotion and act out two scenes, giving me more lines to read and more acting to do. The more lines the better.”

Favourite things to do in spare time:

“I like to create from board games, to Lego worlds, drawings, books, music and more. I love to spend time reading and writing. I also enjoy singing ,play violin as well as playing imaginary and training for gymnastics.”

Fun facts about Elly:

-“My role model is Jim Carry , I would love to meet him one day!
-I often compose and write lyrics to songs I play on the violin.
-Last season I had a 6.0 batting average in soft ball.
-Ive completed 2 spartan races (obstacle races) and plan to do more.”

Final thoughts:

“I know I will make it as an actress due to my love, passion and ability. Im just waiting for my big break! :)”
