MAX Talent Auditioning for Project Internet!

Max Agency is a successful model and talent management agency in Canada representing men, women and children. World Photography Day – August 19th 2018

Happy World Photography Day to all the talented and artistic photographers out there!

Nick Merzetti

Nick Merzetti is an award-winning photographer specializing in Food and Fashion Photography. Nick’s work has been featured in publications such as Monacle, Institute and Spacing magazines, as well as The Toronto Star and The Guardian UK. He is the recipient of the esteemed William J. Dowkes Award for Outstanding Portrait Photography from the University of Toronto, and a winner of the Nature in Focus Photography Competition presented by David Suzuki.

Nick is a highly regarded professional whose work focuses on movement, intention and emotion to capture unique moments that surprise and intrigue. Driven by real passion for people and creativity , for over twenty years , Zvonko has showcased his extensive experience in the wide field of photography. Max Agency Talent Spotlight, Success Story

Debbie K – Showcase Saturday!

Welcome back to Showcase Saturday here at Max Agency — a successful model and talent management agency in Canada representing men, women and children.

This week we will be featuring one of our fun and fit talents, Debbie K.!

An introduction to Debbie:

“Im all about fitness, sport, communications and inspiring others to
action. At 42 year-old, Im a multi-sport athlete, content creator, wife and mother (aka supafitmama). Im currently competing in masters track & field with a goal of medaling at the 2020 World Championships in Toronto. I love a good challenge, enjoy sharing stories and have never been one to shy away from the camera!”

How she got into the acting/modelling scene:

“After years of shooting with different friends and photographers “for fun”, an actress and fitness friend asked why Id never sought out an agent. I didnt have a good answer so I started making calls and found Max!”

Most memorable moment since joining Max:

“Working with Max has been great. I booked my first commercial this spring and was surprised to meet some fantastic women with unique sport and fitness stories on set. Ive also kept in touch with the make-up artist and director, so Id say, the people have been the most memorable.”

Favourite things to do during her spare time:

“When Im not training or writing, I like to soak up as much time with my family and friends as I can: weekend outings with my daughter, nights in with my husband, or a nice riesling with girlfriends. I have a ton of other activities and pursuits on my to-do list but for now, this is more than enough.”

Best advice for someone looking to get started in the industry:

“Dont let your age, size, skin colour or anything else discourage you.
Instead, see them as needs and opportunities. Representation matters.”

Final thoughts:

“Ive found that auditioning, like training, is a great exercise for life.
It hones ones ability to show up with confidence, perform in the moment, trust the process and detach from the outcome. These to me, are valuable strengths to master.

And finally, in everything you do, act with purpose, love and faith.”
