Celebrity Couples We Can’t Wait To See Tie The Knot in 2019

Over the last couple of weeks, the world has been engrossed in all things Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas as they tied the knot a couple  of weeks ago. But they arent the only ones who found love this year. There were so many celebrity engagements we lost count!

MAX decided to put together a list of all of the celebrity weddings we cant wait to see in 2019!

CAITRIONA BALFE & TONY MCGILL

Caitriona Balfe is best known for her lead role on the “Outlander” television show while her fiance is pretty unknown. They have kept their relationship fairly private over the years, however the engagement was revealed when Balfe was seen wearing the engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards at the beginning of the year. We arent expecting a public wedding like Priyanka and Nick for these two but hope to see some news when the day finally comes! All we know so far is that its happening in Italy!

DARREN CRISS & MIA SWIER

Darren and Mia were dating for 7 years before making the leap to get married. They are both extremely busy and successful individuals, its no wonder it has taken them so long to get to this point in their relationship. Well, theyve waited long enough and we are hoping to see them married next year!

STEVE-O & LUX WRIGHT

Steve-O proposed to Lux at the beginning of the year after planning it for 6 months! This will be his third time walking down the aisle and hopefully his last. They announced it on Instagram and continue to post adorable photos together. We cant wait to see when they finally post some wedding shots!

IDRIS ELBA & SABRINA DHOWRE

The Sexiest Man Alive is engaged? Yep, sorry ladies! This is a couple who is not afraid to share their relationship with the public. They are always posting adorable photos on Instagram and slaying red carpets together. They even attended the royal wedding in the summer. Hopefully their wedding is next!

KATIE STEVENS & PAUL DIGIOVANNI

Katie is most well known for her roles on “The Bold Type” while Paul was a part of the band Boys Like Girls. They actually have an adorable proposal story which includes a letter Paul wrote not being opened for 3 years until he was ready to propose. The fact that he knew he would marry Katie 3 years ago is super romantic and we are hoping we dont have to wait another 3 years to see them finally tie the knot!

GIGI GORGEOUS & NATTS GETTY

Youtube star Gigi and Getty Oil heir Natts got engaged earlier this year.  It was an extremely romantic proposal in Paris which can be seen on Gigis Youtube channel where videos are frequently posted of the two of them. Gigi has also been quite open with her trouble conceiving a child due to her being transgender. Best of luck to them with their wedding and future family!

MARC JACOBS & CHARLY “CHAR” DEFRANCESCO

The high-end fashion designer had an unconventional proposal at a Chipotle restaurant involving a flash mob! Truly every couple is unique! The proposal is definitely a sneak peak at the type of wedding these two are bound to have: a night full of dancing and fun! (and most likely Mexican food)

LEA MICHELE & ZANDY REICH

Glee star Lea Michele got engaged to president of clothing brand AYR, Zandy Reich! The couple had been together for a year when Reich popped the question earlier this year. Lea has already begun wedding planning according to PEOPLE Magazine and we can only hope its going well!

TARAJI P. HENSON & KELVIN HAYDEN

The Empire star got engaged to NFL boyfriend earlier this year as well. According to a US Weekly Interview, the planning has begun and the couple plans to wed summer of 2019! We could not be more excited for these two who plan on having an intimate wedding for just friends and family.

VAL CHMERKOVSKIY & JENNA JOHNSON

These two professional dancers from Dancing with the Stars have finally decided to tie the knot! This is not the first married couple to come out of the show as Vals older brother Maks married fellow dancer Peta Murgatroyd last year. The couple is planning their wedding for next year and is looking forward to having a big wedding with both of their families!

CHANCE THE RAPPER & KIRSTEN CORLEY

Chance finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend and mother to his daughter, Kirsten! While the couple has had some rocky moments, they have since reconciled and appear ready to commit to each other for life. We are hoping for the best for this family!

HANNAH HART & ELLA MIELNICZENKO

Another “internet” couple got engaged this year! Youtuber Hannah Hart proposed to girlfriend and executive producer for Buzzfeed, Ella Mielniczenko! She did it in the spot where she realized she wanted to be with Ella forever, in Hawaii. No news on where the actual wedding will be, but it sounds like it might be a longer engagement for these two!

LEONA LEWIS & DENNIS JAUCH

Leona officially got engaged this year to her boyfriend of 8 years. Dennis is a choreographer and dancer which is how they met. He performed as a backup dancer for her tour. Now this is definitely a couple who we believe in if they have been able to make the effort to for each other over the past 8 years of busy schedules. The couple is relatively private so no news on wedding plans quite yet!

GINA RODRIGUEZ & JOE LOCICERO

These two actors met on the set of Jane the Virgin in 2016 and have been dating ever since. This year they decided to get married and Gina has not been shy about talking about it. She loves to gush about her future husband and we could not be more thrilled for them.

While some people wait years for marriage, some dont need as long to just know. Pop singer Ellie got engaged to boyfriend Caspar after only 18 months of dating. While we would love to see these two happily married, a longer engagement may be in the cards for these two as Ellie is a busy lady!

VICTOR ARROYO & NICOLE FRANZEL

This Big Brother couple made their engagement official in front of the millions of viewers who tuned into the latest season of the show. Victor and Nicole met during Season 18 of the show but didnt start dating until the season had finished. Next up theyll be running the Amazing Race for its 31st season. Hopefully they can win the 1 million dollar prize to help with those wedding expenses!

EDDIE MURPHY & PAIGE BUTCHER

This happy couple may not have wedding news right now but they do have baby news! Murphys fiance gave birth to their first child together on November 30th. (However, this is Murphys 10th child overall.) We are wishing the best for them and their growing family!

LADY GAGA & CHRISTIAN CARINO

Gaga is engaged! With all of the hard work she has put in over the course of her career, we are so glad to see her in such a happy place with her fiance and talent agent, Christian. She confirmed it during her speech for Women of Hollywood although it had been speculated about well before then.

Malcolm in the Middle is all grown up! Frankie recently proposed to his girlfriend Paige and she did not shy away from sharing the experience on Instagram. The happy news followed some terrible news including Frankies uncle passing and his house flooding. We are glad to know he has Paige to keep him happy!

Victoria Secret Model and singer-songwriter are officially engaged as of last month! Similar to many of the proposals on this list, the proposal was extremely romantic and took place under the Northern Lights. While this engagement is still new, we would still love to see them get married next year!
