Easter Events To Attend In The GTA – 2019

MAX Agency is a successful model and talent agency in Toronto with a roster of talent including menwomen and children. This Easter weekend, we want all of the wonderful talent on our roster to have an amazing time with their families. 

Here are some of the most exciting Easter/Spring events happening over the weekend:

Chappell Farms Spring Festival – April 19th to 21st

“Chappell Farms Spring Festival is five days of fresh air fun! Leave the winter blues behind when you and your family enjoy a Spring day on the farm. You will see baby farm animals, go on a wagon ride, watch a magic show, enjoy plenty of play areas and jumping castles. The best part is our large candy hunt done every hour! You can collect as much candy as you like.”

Easterfest at Downeys Farm – April 19th – 21st

“Hop on our to Downeys to start off our 2019 season with some fuzzy farm fun! Meet and greet our barnyard animals, check out our cool crafts, take a scenic journey on our wagon rides, and score some cool eggs in our annual Easter Egg Scramble!”

Easter in the Village – April 19th – 21st

“Celebrate Easter in the Blue Mountain Village with scavenger hunts, horse and wagon rides, groove dancing, and more great family activities!”

 

Easter Weekend at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory – April 19th – 22nd

“Join us during Easter weekend and enjoy fun Easter-themed activities for kids!

-Colour an Easter headband

-Scavenger hunt in the Conservatory to win a prize!

-Easter-themed Storytime & Meet a Bug: every day in the Galleries at 11:00 am & 2:00 pm

Easter activities are included with general admission. Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is Open 10am – 5pm, last admission sold at 4pm.”

Easter Actives at Rounds Ranch – April 19th – 20th

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: Enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 9 to 11am.  Pancakes, sausages and drink.

Bunny Patch Hunt: Join the Easter Bunny and hunt for the eggs in the Bunny Patch. Exchange your plastic eggs for chocolate ones.

Bunny Trail: Hop through the maze to find all 5 bunny stations and colour each finger tip a different colour.

Say cheese: Bring your camera to get a great photo of your child with the Easter Bunny.

Eggapalooza Easter Festival – April 19th – 21st

“Eggapalooza Easter Festival takes place Easter long weekend, April 19-21, 2019 at Richmond Green Park! Featuring a full array of Mechanical Rides, Inflatables, Photos with the Easter Bunny, Craft Stations, a Science Station, Baby chick petting zoo, Egg Races and Games, and most importantly 
A GIANT EGG HUNT that will feature hunting stations where you will need to hunt for or earn eggs. This will ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate!”

International Women’s Day 2019 – Toronto Events

International Womens Day is here and it is important to celebrate everything women have accomplished. Its a day to share inspiring stories and have discussions on existing issues.

Toronto is holding a number of events around the city in honour of International Womens Day. Browse the list below and we hope to see you attending one of the following events:

International Womens Day Celebration – Immigrant Women in Business

Where: Toronto Region Board of Trade

When: March 8th, 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Description: “Event features 24 women speakers all from Toronto Canada with a diverse array of backgrounds will each talk for couple of minutes. The topic: How they are changing the world.”

International Womens Day Gala

Where: Hart House Great Hall

When: March 15th, 5:30 PM – 10 PM

Description: “Come to meet inspirational women and students who never cease to fight for their place in STEM! We promise you great conversations, inspirational speakers, stunning performances, and a delicious dinner!”

International Womens Day Celebration – Women in FinTech

Description: “This event is open to people in Blockchain, FinTech, Financial Services and Technology – or if you just want to come and learn more about what it means to be in those fields.”

International Womens Day – Scarborough Guildwood Womens Federal & Provincial Liberal Associations

Description: “The Equity & Diversity Office, The Writing Centre (CTL), the Campus Safety Office, and the Academic Advising & Career Centre invite you to attend the Womens Writing Circle. OM Chanting for International Womens Day

Toronto’s Winter Events Happening in December 2018!

December is beginning and along with it are a plethora of different Winter/Christmas themed events! MAX has compiled a list of some of the most popular and magical Toronto winter events taking place this month. Take a look and get your tickets soon!

Aurora Winter Festival – Nov 29th to Dec 30th

This festival is the largest Winter Festival in Canada. Ontario Place transforms into a village by the North Pole! It includes a skating rink, amusement rides, a food garden, a Christmas market, magical characters and more! There is something for everyone.

Cold Climate Wines of Niagara – All Winter

Avoid the big tour buses and get a private group tour of Ontarios cold climate wines. Cheese pairings are provided along with a lunch at one of the vineyards. Learn more about it on their website!

Holiday Fair in the Square – December 1st to 23rd

Taking place at Nathan Phillips Square, this holiday fair is a Toronto favourite tradition. There is something for everyone including skating, games, treats and drinks! A great place to bring the family throughout December!

Toronto Christmas Market – Nov 15th to Dec 23rd

The ever popular Christmas Market is taking place once again at the Distillery District. The market includes games, entertainment, shopping along with food and drinks of course! The entertainment includes carollers, storytelling, among a mix of artists of all genres. If you want to get into the Christmas spirit, the Christmas Market is a must!

Happy Place – Nov 1st to Jan 1st

Have the winter blues kicked in yet? The Happy Place is just the thing to get you out of your seasonal funk. It is a large scale pop-up event with one mission…to make you happy! Hockey Hall of Fame Stanley Cup 125th Anniversary Tribute – Now to Dec 31

Are you a big hockey fan? Then you must visit the Hockey Hall of Fame to celebrate this major anniversary. You get hands on contact with the Stanley cup and get your photo taken! Other collections and treasures are also on display.

Its Christmas Concert by Ontario Pop Orchestra – December 1st

The Ontario Pops are a Canadian orchestra. They have multiple concerts during the year, including a special one for Christmas! They will be playing many of the classics including “O Holy Night” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. The Humber Valley United Church Choir will also be joining them for this performance.

Liberty Village Holiday Market – December 2nd

Shop from a variety of 50+ artisans from the Toronto Urban Collective. They curate a variety of different vendors along with delicious food and music to ensure a good time is had by all! Save the date because its coming up quick!

Home Alone in Concert – Dec 6th to Dec 8th

Taking place at Roy Thompson Hall, this concert experience has truly become a classic. The film plays while the Toronto Symphony Orchestra joined by the Resonance Youth Choir perform the musical score live along with the film!

A Christmas Carol – Dec 7th to 24th

Yet another family friendly event to do this winter is seeing this famous story unfold live on stage! If you are seeing any plays this December, make it A Christmas Carol and introduce the story to a new generation.

The Nutcracker – Dec 8th to 30th

The Nutcracker will be put on by the National Ballet of Canada this winter. It is an interactive and engaging experience for children or adults of the classic magical story. It was created in 1995 and continues to be a popular event every year.
